- Harvey Kingsbury was born on 17 December 1794 in Andover, Connecticut.1
- Harvey was drafted in the war of 1812, and served for 40 days at New London CT.2
- His health being frail, he was unable to pursue the business of agriculture, and consequently he moved to Farmington to learn the trade of a jeweler. He changed his plans, however, and gave special attention to study, with a view to teaching, reciting for a time to Rev Mr Woodruff of Coventry. He taught for ten successive winters, and gave satisfaction to his employers.2

- Mr Kingsbury possessed a firm character and religious principles. He was a puritan indeed in his integrity, careful observance of the Sabbath, and diligent attendance on the worship of God in the sanctuary and the weekly meetings. He was also greatly interested in the Sabbath School, and always came forward generously when help was needed for the church, and for missionary work.3
- He died on 22 May 1874 in Coventry, Connecticut+, at age 79.2

Theodore A. Hammond Jr. 90, was the son of the late Theodore A. and Estelle Clermont Hammond Sr. and husband of the late Mary Murphy Hammond. Ted was raised in Delmar, was a graduate of the Bethlehem High School and joined the Navy and was honorably discharged in 1954.Ted went to work for New York Telephone in Albany where he was an Engineer for many years, retiring in 1986. The Hammond family moved to Poestenkill in 1975 where Ted ran a hobby farm raising rare breed cows of various kinds. He was a 4-H leader and Boy Scout Leader, a member of the Telephone Pioneers and his activities included golfing and bowling at Highway Recreation.
Survivors include four children..., 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Ted was the brother of the late Shirle Murray.
