SYLNER BERGEMAN
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Sylner "Sy" Bergeman, 95, of Idaho Falls, died March 16, 2008, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls.
He was born April 10, 1912, in Blue Earth, Minnesota, to Julus E. and Emma Bergeman. He attended school in the area.
He married Bethine Claire Huff in 1961. They made their home in Chico, California, before moving to Idaho Falls, where they have lived for the past 25 years. He was a farmer and worked in construction and the mobile home industry.
Sy was active as one of the Jehovahs Witnesses and enjoyed sharing his faith with others.
He is survived by his sons, Jerry Bergeman (Susan) of Idaho Falls;
and Richard (Vicki) Bergeman of Patterson, Idaho
7 Grandchildren and 16 Great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beth, and 11 brothers and sisters.
Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008, at the Ammon Cemetery.
Memorial Services for Sy and Bethine will be at 6:30 p.m., Monday, March 24, 2008, at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovahs Witnesses, 1480 Jefferson, with Brent Williams officiating.
Gladys Romney Loveless passed away peacefully on August 27, 2011.
She was born August 6, 1923 to Frank and Gladys Romney in Colonia Dublan, Chihuahua, Mexico. Her mother passed away when Gladys was twelve and she assumed responsibility for her six siblings. She attended Juarez Academy until the family moved to Payson in 1939, where she graduated from Payson High School.
She met her sweetheart, Ned, and they were married on November 17, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She loved music and sang with the Salt Lake Oratorio Society and Singing Mothers, but her life was devoted to her family and working at the side of her husband. She and Ned served a mission in North Carolina and also worked for many years in the Manti Temple.
She is survived by her children, Terrill (John) Sperry, Lloyd (Diane) Loveless, Duane (Sandra) Loveless, Darlene (Bryce, dec.) Loveless, Warren (Cathy) Loveless, Craig (Karen) Loveless, Kurt (Hilda) Loveless, Mark (Dell) Loveless, Kaye (Reed) Hammond; forty-eight grandchildren; and eighty-five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ned; sons, Bryce and Donald.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Payson Mountain View Sixth Ward Chapel (789 East Arrowhead Trail). There will be a viewing held on Wednesday night from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the church as well as one hour prior to the services on Thursday.
Interment will be held in the Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery (6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West)) at approximately 2:30 p.m.

Police seek driver who left scene of fatal car accident.
Salt Lake City police Thursday morning were looking for a driver who left the scene of a fatal accident.
A 70-year-old West Valley woman was killed when her car collided with another vehicle at the intersection of 1700 South and 300 West just after 5 a.m. Police don't know what caused the accident.
Lt. Jim Jensen said witnesses saw the driver of the other vehicle walk over to the woman's car and then get back into his vehicle and leave.
Investigators say the man was wearing shorts and no shoes. He was last seen driving a white Blazer that has damage to the front and left side of the vehicle.

Beloved mother, Oma Lee Loveless Richins, passed away August 31, 2000 due to injuries from an automobile accident.
Born March 23, 1930 in Payson, UT the daughter of Vaughn Tillman Loveless and Laurel Dimick.
Survived by children, Jane (Richard) Jeffs, Bonnie Pertl, both of West Valley, Kenneth Richins, Roosevelt, Dan (Daniece) Richins, Evanston, WY; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; a great great-granddaughter; brothers and sisters, Ned (Gladys) Loveless, Glade (Dorothy) Loveless, Lynn (Ivadee) Loveless, Sheldon (Janice) Loveless, Gerald (Pat) Loveless. Preceded in death by three sisters, Madge, Aleene, Faye; one great-grandson; and one daughter-in-law, Sharadee.
Services will be 12 noon Wed. Sept 6, at Salt Lake Valley LDS Deaf 1st Ward, 760 E. 700 S. Friends and family may call 6-8 p.m. Tues. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Rd and Wed. one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
William “Fred” Richins, age 92, born in Provo, Utah, on Feb. 19, 1927, died Jan. 7, 2020.
Fred loved life and had many friends. He was an avid fisherman. Anyone who knew Fred have many fishing stories and memories with him. Fred was a shoe repairman for 19 years. He was a teacher at the Odgen School for the Deaf and he was a big part of the deaf community throughout Utah.
Fred married Oma Lee Loveless in 1946. They had four children Jane (Richard) Jeffs, Bonnie Richins Pertl, Kenneth (Ruby) Richins and Dan (Mary) Richins. They later divorced but remained best friends.
Fred is survived by his six children, 24 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 41 great-great-grandchildren with four still on the way including one great-great-great-grandchild.
Fred was proceeded in death by his parents Ellis and Darlene Richins, the love of his life Oma Lee Richins, six siblings, daughter-in-law Daniece Richins, and two great-grandkids.
Fred was buried Jan. 8, 2020, at the Hayden Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday Jan. 12, 2020, at the Hayden Cemetery for all his family and friends. Please bring a flower to decorate his grave.

He grew up helping on the farm, being mischievous, making friends. He loved horses and trained his first wild mustang at the age of 14. In high school he played sports and attended seminary.
After graduating from high school, he worked until he received a mission call for the LDS Church, when he turned 19, in 1950. But with the Korean conflict going on, he could not get a deferment from the draft, so he enlisted in the US Navy. After a couple of years in, he got into the submarine program and then atomic energy for the ships. He served 26 years in the military, before retiring in August 1976 and moving back to Utah.
He married Janice Partington in October 1953, in the Logan LDS Temple and they had five sons.
Sheldon liked hunting, fishing, sports – especially BYU football and basketball, and gardening. He always planted a bigger garden than he needed, so he could share with family and friends.
He is survived by his sons: Kent (Margaret), Kerry, Kelly (Vonnie), Bryon (Cathy), Keith (Candace); as well as 14 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janice; and three grandchildren: Sheldon, Michael, and Kerilyn.
A visitation, for family and friends of Sheldon, will be Friday evening, August 6, 2021, from 6-8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660. Helen "Janice" Partington Loveless
1932 - 2018
Early Life: Janice was born October 17, 1932, in Provo, Utah, to William Alma and Helen Gertrude Ault Partington. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1950.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: Janice continued her education through the University of Utah Nursing Program. She received her associate degree from Utah Technical College and worked as a LPN for many years. She married her eternal companion, Sheldon L. Loveless, on October 15, 1932, in the Logan Utah LDS Temple. They are the parents of five sons. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, always making her family her first priority. Janice worked for Dr. Brockbank in Spanish Fork, Utah, for over 15 years. She also enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Thalien Club in Spanish Fork and a women’s choir, The Choralettes. Helen Janice Partington Loveless, loving wife, mother, grandma and sister, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018, in Benjamin, Utah.
Survived By: Her husband, Sheldon; children: Wm. Kent (Margaret) Loveless, of Bremerton, WA; Kerry V. Loveless, of Orem; S. Kelly (Vonnie), of Mona; Bryon S. (Cathy) of Spanish Fork; and Keith L. (Candice) Loveless, of Springville; 17 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and a sister, Joyce Ann Harris.

Gerald David Loveless
1935 - 2015
Early Life: Gerald was born May 25, 1935, in Payson, Utah, to Vaughn Tillman Loveless and Laurel Dimmick Loveless. He was the youngest of nine children. He grew up in West Mountain and attended schools in Payson, including Payson High School, graduating in 1953.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: Following high school, Gerald attended Snow College for a year where he played football. He later worked for Western General Dairy where he retired after 42 1/2 years of employment. He was a dedicated and hard worker. On March 1, 1957, Gerald married Nancy Ross. Together, they had six children: Dave, Doug, Derk, Margo, Maria and Dee. They later divorced. Gerald then married Patricia Ann Kemble on August 8, 1969. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo Utah LDS Temple. Patricia had four children from a previous marriage: Joe, Scott, Debbie and Mark. Gerald and Patricia then had two more children together, Jon and Chris. At the time of Patricia's passing in August 2014, they had been married for 45 years. Gerald grew up with a love of animals and of the outdoors. He loved camping, fishing and hunting with his family. He enjoyed these activities throughout his life. Gerald spent much of his time in gyms, stadiums and on fields watching his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate in sports and other activities. He was well-known in the community as his family's biggest fan at these events. He will be missed at these events by many. Gerald David Loveless, of Payson, Utah, passed away peacefully on the morning of October 18, 2015. He was 80 years old.
Survived By: His children: Dave Loveless, Doug Loveless (Annette), Margo Gabbott (Geoff), Maria Patton (Steve), Jon Loveless (Tiffney) and Chris Loveless (Mary); stepchildren: Joe Slanec (Tammy), Scott Slanec (Lana) and Mark Slanec (Candi); 34 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Sheldon Loveless (Janice).

Patricia Loveless, age 74, of Payson, Utah passed away peacefully on Friday, August 1, 2014.
She was born February 7, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of Harold and Caroline Kemble.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Elizabeth Kemble, daughter, Deborah Montague, son-in-law, Wayne Montague, step-grandson, Daniel Montague, and step-son, Dee Loveless.
Pat grew up in Brooklyn and Long Island, New York. She attended Hofstra University in New York and Stevens Henager College in Utah. Pat worked for over twenty years at Burrelle's Press in Provo, Utah where she retired as supervisor.
Pat was previously married to Robert Slanec. They had four children; Joe, Debbie, Scott and Mark. She later married her longtime husband, Gerald Loveless on August 20, 1969 in Reno, Nevada. Gerald had five children from a previous marriage; David, Douglas, Margo, Maria and Dee. They spent most of their life together living in the Payson area where they raised their family including two more children of their own, Jonathan and Christopher. Pat and Gerald were sealed in the Provo Temple on November 13, 2010. August 20th will mark their 45th wedding anniversary.
Pat loved to travel. She has traveled throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Her hobby for many years was making porcelain dolls and finishing ceramics. The highlight of her life was watching and supporting her children and grandchildren in all of their various activities, especially their sporting events. She also loved spending time with friends and family.
Pat is survived by her husband Gerald, her children Joseph Slanec (Tammy), Robert Scott Slanec (Lana), Mark Slanec (Candy), Jonathan Loveless (Tiffney), Christopher Loveless (Mary), her step children, David Loveless, Douglas Loveless (Annette), Margo Gabbott (Geoffrey), Maria Patton, and her sister, Valerie Kemble. She has thirty-one grandchildren and nineteen great-grand children.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 711 South 600 East, Payson.
There will be a viewing held Tuesday, August 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.at the Walker Mortuary located at 587 South 100 West, Payson, and Wednesday morning at the Church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Della Gurr Baum Searle
Early Life: Della was born February 16, 1915, to Wallace Marsh and Bathsheba James Gurr.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: Della married Virgil L. Baum; he preceded her in death. She later married Rex Delos Searle. He too, preceded her in death. Della attended Lincoln High School in Orem, Utah. She was employed by Jack's Café in Spanish Fork for over 20 years as manager and cook. She loved to bowl and go fishing at Fish Lake with the family. She and a group of friends played cards together for over 50 years. She enjoyed quilting and made beautiful quilts. Loving mother and grandmother, Della Gurr Baum Searle passed away peacefully at her granddaughter's home in Santaquin, Utah. She was 90 years old.
Survived By: Two sons: Dale (Neola) Baum, of Spanish Fork; Dean (Elaine, deceased) Baum, of Wisconsin; four stepchildren: Jack Searle, Don Searle, R.D. Searle, Rexene Jordan; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters: Loa (David O.) MacKay, Wanda (Austin) Barney, LaVon (Omar) Hansen.
Preceded In Death By: Her husbands, Virgil Baum and Rex Searle; daughter, Darlene Baum; grandson, Brady Baum; brothers, Eugene Gurr and Wallace Gurr; sisters, Beth Wilburg and Margaret Hamblin; and special friend, Nina Huff.
