An obituary was published

Helen Belknap Tupper, died at home, Monday, January 28, 2008. She was born at Land O'Goshen Farm, Goshen, Kentucky to William B. and Helen Strong Belknap on October 5, 1926. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kirby S. Tupper, Jr. and her brother Jonathan Belknap. She is survived by her daughter Annice Johnston of Goshen, Kentucky; her son, Carroll Joynes and daughter-in-law Abby O'Neil of Chicago; granddaughter, Elizabeth Joynes; step-grandsons, Sam Tupper and Conor O'Neil; brother, Burke Belknap of Oceanside, California and Nancy Lighthill and Malchus Jenkins who cared for her.

She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Kershaw County Literacy Association, Springdale Hall and the Camden Garden Club.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Grace Episcopal Church, 1515 Lyttleton St., Camden, SC 29020 or the Walter Crowe Animal Shelter, 460 S. Fair St., Camden, SC 29020.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church on Thursday, January 31, 2008, at 2:00 p.m.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
