Y., is participating in exercise “Snow Fall,” that Army Air Force Winter was games underway at Camp Drum, N. Y., as a member of the 11th Airborne Division's 503rd Regiment. Van Galder, a rifleman in Company L, entered the Army Feb. 19, 1951 at Binghamton. He CompletedParachutist school June 24, 1951. He graduated from Odessa Central High school in 1950

ODESSA - Glenn Jackson VanGalder, 34, of Texas Hollow Road, brother of Mrs. Barbara Brewer and Mrs. Majorie Lapp of Seneca Falls, died early Saturday in a one car accident en-route home from work. His car struck a steel pole on Odessa - Montour Falls Hill.
Funeral services will be 2 p. m. tomorrow from the Heal Funeral Home in Odessa.
Friends may call today at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.m.
Mr. VanGalder was a 1951 graduate of Odessa Central School. He served with the U.S. Army Paratroopers.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ann Fosdick VanGalder, four sons, Glenn, Donald, David, Thomas and Steven; one daughter Joyce Ann, all at home; his father Donald W. VanGalder of Candor; five brothers, Donald of Elmira, S.Sgt. Daniel of Bossier City, La., Rodney of Pine City, S-Sgt. Robert of Wichita, Kan.; and Richard with the US Marine Corps in Vietnam; three sisters, Mrs. Brewer and Mrs. Lapp of Seneca Falls, and Mrs. Ruth Enderle of Tioga, Pa.; 32 nieces and nephews.
