Harriet S. Honchell, 76 died Sunday of lung disease at her home in Moreno Valley.
No public services are planned. Pacific Cremation Care in Lake Elsinore is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Honchell, who was born in Chicago, lived in Moreno Valley for 20 years. She worked as a bookkeeper for California Dental College. Previously, she worked for Canonie Construction and LaCrosse Dredging, both of Chicago. She attended Bowen High School in Chicago. She was a member of Regal Lanes Bowling League, Eastern Star in Chicago and Order of Rainbow for Girls.
Mrs. Honchell is survived by a daughter, Diane Whitlock of Corona; 2 sons Donald of Chicago and Douglas of Mira Loma; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, a sister Mary Alice Norman, Phillips, WI. and her former husband, Fred Honchell of Moreno Valley.1
