Teri S. Nichols, 70, of Bettendorf passed away Aug.21, 2018, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf with her family by her side. A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Fountains in Bettendorf. In lieu of flowers, memorials my be made to Genesis Hospice.
Teri was born July 13, 1948, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Kenneth and Helen Sargeant Glattfelder. She married Rex Nichols on Aug. 3, 1974, in Ottumwa. Teri worked at St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa. She later worked as a receptionist for Wilken Chiropractic for 18 years. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Rex: daughter, Tracy Nichols of Spring, Texas; brothers, Kenny Glattfelder of Ottumwa and Denny Glattfelder of Eskridge, Kansas.
Teri was receded in death by her parents.

PORTLAND-- Lena (Hofer) Stute Gueck, 91, of Portland, Ore., died from cancer on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001. She was born Oct. 10, 1909, at Benkelman, Neb., and attended the Benkelman High School.
She was united in marriage to Glen Stute in February 1927. He preceded her in death in 1970. She married Troy Gueck in December 1974 and he preceded her in death in 1989.
She resided in Colorado from 1938 to 1943 when she moved to Portland. Mrs. Gueck worked for Rowllington Laundry & Dry Cleaners as a laundry press operator from 1943 to 1972. She loved working in her yard.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Mason, in 2000. She is survived by a son, Glenn Stute, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Lena Gueck were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 2, 2001, at the Portland Memorial Sunrise-Sunset Chapel, with private entombment at the Portland Memorial Mausoleum.

Glennard Eugene Stute died Oct. 29, 2002, at age 73.
Mr. Stute was born Jan. 5, 1929, in Benkelman, Neb. He moved to Portland in 1953. A warehouseman for Nabisco in Portland, he was stationed in Italy during the Korean War. In 1954, he married Marjorie Coon.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Glennda Rumgay; sons, Jeffrey and Stephen; and six grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2000, in a home at 3311 Madison S. E., Albany, for Mason Warner Stute, who died July 14 at age 66.
Mr. Stute was born Oct. 31, 1933, in Benkelman, Neb. He moved to Portland as a child. He served in the U. S. Navy. He was a machinist for REM Metals, later bought by Gemini Corp., in Portland and Albany for about 40 years until retired in 1994. In 1967, he married Joanne Maxwell.
Survivors include his wife; son, Stuart; mother, Lena; brother, Glenn; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Disposition is by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to a charity of choice. Arrangements are by Heritage Memorial Society.
