Beulah Maxine Clark, 83, of Bonaparte, died Wednesday May 29, 2019 at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.
Services: Private. Iowa Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.
Maxine was born September 25, 1935 in Bentonsport, Iowa, the daughter of Dave and Mary (Haynes) Warner. She is a graduate of Bonaparte High School.
Maxine married Bernard Clark in Fairfield on December 24,1953. He precedes her in death.
She was a machine operator for Riverside Plastics.
She enjoyed ceramics and spending time with family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Maria (Allan) Rains, Sandra Cole and her brother, Rodney (Eva) Warner, all of Bonaparte, Iowa. Also surviving are grandchildren; Dale (Carrie) Billingsley of Bonaparte, Iowa, Jeramiah (Jennifer) Cole of Oskaloosa, Tristian Cole of Bonaparte, Iowa, Tyler Duncan of Bonaparte, Iowa and Stormie (Daryl) Cole of Bonaparte, Iowa. Also surviving are many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and grandchildren; Travis and Matthew Billingsley

Bernard K. Clark, 69 of Bonaparte died unexpectedly at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at his home.
He was born January 3, 1934 in Bonaparte to Carl and Flossie Greer Clark. He married Maxine Warner December 26, 1953 in Fairfield.
He lived his life in Van Buren County, attended Stockport High School and was owner/operator of an over the road tractor/trailer.
Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Maria Rains and Sandra Cole both of Bonaparte, four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Ervin Clark of Keosauqua, Jerry Clark of Clayton, Illinois and Tom Clark of Elko, Nevada.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Linda Clark in infancy and Juanita Renteria and t.wo grandsons, Travis and Matt Billingsley.
The body has been cremated. At his request there will be no service or visitation.
Wanda L. Warner, 73, of rural Keosauqua died at 7:55 P.M. Thursday November 15, 2012, at University Hospital, Iowa City. She was born March 8, 1939, at Richland to Carl and Elsie Johnson Deuser and married David Warner, Jr. September 21, 1958, in Birmingham. He died May 18, 1988. Wanda graduated from Birmingham High School and worked many years at Center Village Care Center, Keosauqua. She and Junior lived in the Bentonsport-Bonaparte area. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and loved nature, including feeding goldfinches and hummingbirds and hunting arrowheads. She also enjoyed reading and doing puzzles when the weather kept her inside.
Surviving are three sons, David Warner II (Dawn), Tim Warner and Dusty Warner (Kathy), all of Keosauqua, a daughter, Mary Lou Warner (Erin) of Des Moines, four grandchildren, a great-grandson and a brother, Willis Deuser (Joyce) of Fairfield. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Warren Deuser.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Tuesday November 20, 2012, at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua with Larry Shipley officiating. Burial will be in Bentonsport Cemetery. Visitation will open at 3 P.M. Monday at the funeral home with family present 6-8 P.M. Memorials to the family may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at P.O. Box 280, Keosauqua, IA 52565.
Margery Phyllis (Green) Lefevre died Wednesday June 17, 2020 at Life Care Center, Casper. Phyllis, born in 1923, was the eldest child of Forrest Aden and Blanche Violet Green of Spokane, Washington.
Phyllis enjoyed recounting her childhood growing up in Helena, Montana, particularly summers spent living in tents while her father followed road construction projects, building some of the first paved highways through western Montana mountains. She also recalled times during the Depression when the family would search for stray bits of coal along railways, or times they lined their worn out shoes with paper.
High school valedictorian, she was the first in her family to attend college. She married fellow Montana State University chemistry student Lorin Durward Lefevre in 1946, received her Bachelor’s Degree in 1948, then moved to Casper. She was a homemaker, renowned for her apple pie. Family recreation included reading, camping, rock hunting, singing, and playing music. Phyllis sang and played piano and violin. She and Lorin gave their children the gifts of music and music lessons. Among many other gifts to their children was a love for learning and particularly science
The couple was active in a Casper square dancing club and the Wyoming Fiddlers’ Association. A convert to Roman Catholicism, Phyllis was active in her parish life, particularly parish choirs and Our Lady of Fatima Altar and Rosary Society.
Phyllis' husband, parents, sister Delores Sparing of Helena, Montana, and great grandson Jaxon Kalinowski predeceased her. She is survived by her sister Myrtle Prohaska of Seattle, Washington, and brother Forrest Green of Cody, Wyoming, and her six children, Richard (Julie) of Lander, Wyoming, Nancy Byrne (Dermot), Margie Valdez (John), David (Penny), Carol O'Hearn (Kevin) all of Casper and Don of Rapid City, South Dakota. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren and forty five great grandchildren.
Phyllis' funeral mass was held June 22, 2020 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
