• In March and April of 1864 she traveled for 5 weeks with her mother & older sister - her mother was unwell after her eldest son Willie died. They went to Springfield, Northampton, Bellows Falls, Chester, Rutland & West Rutland. All by horse & carriage!³
• Alice Eliza Kingsbury attended school at Collegiate Institute, Waterbury, Connecticut, This school changed it's name to the Female Seminary, and by the time Alice graduated it was the St Margaret's School For the Girls. She graduated in 1875.⁴
• She attended the marriage of Frederick John Kingsbury and Adele Townsend on 11 November 1886 in Trinity Church, New York City, New York.⁵
• Alice Eliza Kingsbury appeared on the 1910 US Federal Census of 80 Prospect St, Waterbury, New Haven County, Connecticut, enumerated on 21 April 1910, in the household of her father Frederick John Kingsbury.⁶
• On 22 March 1911 Alice Kingsbury, with her two nieces Ruth Kingsbury and Dorothy Bull, traveled to Liverpool on the ship Adelphi. They spent two and a half months visiting Stratford, Oxfors, London, Antwerp, the Hague, Cologne, Lucerne, Milan, Venice, Florence, Switzerland, Paris, Blois, Tours and back to Paris before heading back home, arriving 8 June in New York.^7,8
• She appeared on the 1930 US Federal Census of 80 Prospect St, Waterbury, New Haven County, Connecticut, enumerated on 10 April 1930. A trained nurse was listed with the household: Eva Irene Topfer age 26. 5 servants are listed: Laura Pfeff age 33, Mina Niemand age 36, Bertha Evelyn Moran age 36, Mary Dee age 25 and Alice May Reed age 41, including one nurse. Value of real estate $35,000. They own a radio.⁹
• On 4 April 1931 Alice returned to New York City on the ship Veendam from Hamilton, Bermuda. She had raveled with her niece Ruth & Ruth's husband Richard and their two children Dickie & Fred - her great nephews. They had vacationed in Bermuda.¹⁰

• Ebenezer Kingsbury was born on 11 February 1716/17 in West Farms (now Franklin), Connecticut.¹
• He married Priscilla Kingsbury, daughter of Nathaniel Kingsbury and Hannah Denison, on 28 March 1737/38 Ebenezer and Priscilla were first cousins. She is said to have read the Bible through before marrying, to see if there was anything to forbid marrying a cousin.²
• On 24 November 1739 Ebenezer was admitted to the Church in Bolton, MA. He was a Deacon in the Church.²
• He was a much valued citizen, a representative to the General Assembly 18 years, a Lieutenant of the Ninth Company or Trainband in the Fifth Regiment of the Colony in May 1753, and Captain, Oct 1756. He was chosen a member of the Committee of Correspondence in Coventry, 15 Sep 1774.²
• Ebenezer Kingsbury died on 6 September 1800 in Coventry, Connecticut+, at age 83.
• He was buried in North Burying-round, Coventry, Connecticut.
