Ryan Kendrick Coffin

Ryan Kendrick Coffin 29 of West Palm Beach, FL, formerly of Wilmington, NC and Charlottesville, VA passed away on Wednesday February 28, 2007. Born January 14, 1978, he was the son of Dexter Drake Coffin, III and Jo Anne Jones Coffin of West Palm Beach, FL.
He was preceded in death by his beloved maternal grandmother, Anne Johnson Jones; his uncle, T.W. Jones and cousin, Tom W. Jones, Jr. In addition to his parents he is survived by six brothers, Tom Coffin and his wife Tisha of Manquin, VA, his twin brother Tavis Coffin and his wife Kelli of Charlottesville, Dexter Drake Coffin, IV and Lance Coffin both of West Palm Beach, FL., Gavin Coffin of Philadelphia, PA, and Sean Coffin of Port St. Lucie, FL; his maternal grandfather, Tom M. Jones of Lady Lake, FL; his paternal grandmother, Joyce C. Coffin of Palm Beach, FL; one uncle, 3 aunts, 3 nephews and 4 cousins, and his beloved dog, Abby.
His generous, loving spirit and contagious laughter will be missed by all.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 10, 2007
at Hill and Wood Funeral Home with Tony Giles officiating. Burial
will follow in Riverview cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 9, 2007 at the Funeral Home.
Charles Benjamin Card, beloved son of Orson Scott Card and Kristine A. Card, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000, in Myrtle Beach, S.C., of natural causes.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000, at the Latter-Day Saints meetinghouse, 3719 Pinetop Road. His body will be buried in the American Fork City Cemetery, Utah.
Born July 28, 1983, in Greensboro, Charlie Ben was afflicted from birth with cerebral palsy, which prevented him from walking or speaking. Yet he blessed all those who knew him with his laughter, his kindness, his patience and his love.
He is survived by his parents; his older brother, Michael Geoffrey; his older sister, Emily Janice; his younger sister, Zina Margaret; his beloved friends and helpers, Erin and Phillip Absher; and all four grandparents. Another younger sister, Erin Louisa, preceded him in death.
Those who wish to bid him good-bye may come to the LDS meetinghouse between 1 and 2:30 p.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Gateway Education Center, where Charlie was so well served, would be gratefully received.

Death: Erin Louisa Card

Erin Louisa Card was born 16 March 1997, at Women's Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina and died the same day of natural causes after seven hours of life.
Erin is survived by her parents, Kristine Allen Card and Orson Scott Card, and her brothers and sisters, Geoffrey, Emily, Charlie Ben, and Zina, all of Greensboro, NC; by grandparents, James and Renee Allen and Willard and Peggy Card, all of Orem, UT; by two great-grandmothers, Edna D. Allen and Minnie A. Jones, of Logan, UT, by many aunts, uncles, and cousins in North Carolina, Utah, California, Texas, and New Mexico; and by loving godparents, Erin and Phillip Absher, of Anza, CA.`We thank our Father in Heaven for the gift of this child we longed for, held so briefly in our arms but forever in our hearts.'
Burial and a family graveside service will be held Friday, 21 March, in Utah. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, 25 March, at 5 p.m., at the Latter-day Saint meetinghouse at 3621 Lakefield Dr., off Vandalia Road. just west of Elm in Greensboro.
