POSTPONED---The Katherine A. TYLER memorial service and gathering scheduled Saturday, October 23rd at Knights Creek Church in Scio has been POSTPONED.
Born November 27, 1956, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Royce and Mildred Miles Hults. She was employed by the Dill Pickle and Park Meadows Campground. Kathy enjoyed family gatherings, her angel collection, the bounty of nature, her garden, birds, and scratch off tickets. She sang and played guitar with Country Harmony band and was a past member of Wellsville Volunteer Ambulance and Rescue Squad.
Surviving are: her father, Royce Hults of Scio; two sons, John Burley and Brian Burley, both of Wellsville; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Daniel (Barb) Hults of Mesa, AZ, Bob (Linda) Hults of Andover, and David (Kelley) Hults of Wellsville; a sister, Rose Sherwood of Belmont; nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by husbands, Earl O. Vosburg in 1990 and David C. Tyler on February 3, 2021; her mother, Mildred Hults; and a brother, Carl E. Hults.

David C. TYLER, of Wellsville, NY, formerly of Scio, died Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in the Bath VA Medical Center, Bath, NY. He was the son of Charles and Melvina Musto Tyler. A US Navy Veteran, he served honorably from 1973 – 1977. On June 26, 1996, in Stannards, he married the former Katherine Hults, who survives.
He was employed as a landscaper and builder in Texas and then worked for the Village of Wellsville sanitation department. David was a past member of Wellsville Volunteer Ambulance and Rescue Squad. David loved everyone and will be missed.
Surviving besides his wife, Kathy, are: two sons, John Burley and Brian Burley both of Wellsville; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Sandra Dasher of FL; several other brothers and sisters; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents.
Services will be private.
Burial will be in Bath National Cemetery, Bath, NY.
